A small (but growing) cookbook collection

What attracts me to a cookbook is not a little unlike what I find interesting in a guy. Being easy on the eyes (as in lots of pictures both for instructional purposes and just plain eye candy), making one open to a realm of possibilities (as in teaching the basics yet leaving room for improvisation) and good, clear communication are key.

As far as I’m concerned, quality wins out over quantity. It’s a tired cliche but it works.
