A Celebration of Tomatoes

As you can probably imagine, tomatoes are my favorite vegetable. Right now, my farmers’ markets are inundated with them: beefsteak tomatoes, Jersey tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, San Marzano tomatoes and Sungold cherry tomatoes, amongst other kinds. It’s a virtual orgy of tomatoes.

“Enjoy them while they last”, I tell my friends. In one short month, they’ll be gone until next year.

As usual, clicking on any of the tiles in the mosaic below will bring up a slideshow of photographs.

  2. You know these are my favorite. I so miss growing and having proper toms.
