Summer Snapshots

I’m moving to San Francisco in two weeks. It’s another chapter in the story of my life, and one I’m very much looking forward to seeing unfold. Things are a wonderful combination of overwhelming and exciting all at the same time.

Some folks say that moving from one end of the country is a big jump. Well, I don’t know about that. It’s as if I were moving from Chelsea to the Upper West Side or from Manhattan to Brooklyn, except in terms of scale. That’s what I tell my pillow at night, anyway.

Having lived in New York City for well over 25 years, I can definitely say I’m ready for a change.

Clicking on any of the tiles in the mosaic below will call up a slideshow of high-resolution photographs.

Sausage, fried olives, citrus

Tomato and stone fruit salad

  1. Your move sounds very exciting. We have always lived on the east coast and have been in Vermont for the last 18 years and are planning to move to the Pacific Northwest! Look forward to hearing more about your transition!
